Habitat: Wood Nettle prefers partial sun to medium shade with moist conditions and a fertile loamy soil with abundant organic matter. Look for Wood Nettle in moist floodplain woodlands, moist bottomland woodlands, mesic woodlands, shady seeps, and other moist places in wooded areas.
