Habitat: Wild Lupine prefers full or partial sun with mesic to dry conditions, and an acidic sandy soil. Look for Wild Lupine in sand prairies, openings in sandy woodlands, sandy savannas, edges of sandy woodlands, stabilized sand dunes, and powerline clearances in sandy areas.
