Habitat: Smooth Rock Cress prefers medium shade to partial sunlight with moist to slightly dry conditions and soil that is loamy or rocky. Look for Smooth Rock Cress in mesic woodlands, thinly wooded bluffs, rocky slopes of bluffs, shaded cliffs, and ravines near streams.
