Habitat: Pointed-leaf Tick Trefoil prefers partial sun to medium shade with moist to dry-mesic conditions and a loamy soil with decaying organic matter. Look for Pointed-leaf Tick Trefoil in upland woodlands that are often rocky, moist to mesic woodlands, woodland borders along roads and railroads, and areas along woodland paths.
