Habitat: Fringed Puccoon prefers full sun with dry conditions, and barren soil that is sandy or stony. Look for Fringed Puccoon in upland prairies, gravel prairies, sand prairies, hill prairies, sandy or rocky savannas, limestone glades, and pastures.
