Habitat: Enchanter's Nightshade prefers dappled sunlight to medium shade with mesic conditions and a rich loamy soil abundant with organic matter. Look for Enchanter's Nightshade in mesic deciduous woodlands, including oak woodlands and maple/basswood woodlands, and areas that are adjacent to woodland paths.
