Habitat: White Baneberry prefers dappled sunlight to medium shade with moist to mesic conditions and a fertile loamy soil with abundant organic matter. Look for White Baneberry in rich deciduous woodlands, ravines, thinly wooded bluffs, the bases of bluffs, and shaded seeps.
