Habitat: Swamp Smartweed prefers full or partial sun with wet to moist conditions, and muddy soil. Look for Swamp Smartweed in swamps, sunny to partially shaded seeps, edges of ponds, and ditches. These habitats can be either sandy or non-sandy.
