This notice explains how Where’s Wildlife handles activity and comments on our wildlife quizzes.
Quiz activity
We record which quiz and difficulty are played, whether a round is a regular round, replay, or practice round, the number of answers marked correct or incorrect, and whether the results screen is reached. These counts help us understand how the quizzes are used and improve them.
Activity records use a randomly generated code for each round and are kept for up to 90 days. This quiz tracking does not store your name, email address, IP address, or an identifier that follows you across visits, and it does not set tracking cookies. Activity reports are available only to site administrators.
Comments and suggestions
Leaving a comment is optional. Comments are reviewed before appearing publicly. Your name and approved comment may be published; your email address is not published.
Comments are stored separately from quiz activity in WordPress. WordPress and the site’s spam-protection tools may process information such as your IP address and browser information to help prevent spam and manage comments. The 90-day quiz-activity retention period does not apply to comments.
