A compact warbler with a striking white eye-ring, often seen searching leaves and small branches for insects.

Three Identification Clues

A complete white eye-ring stands out on the grayish head.

Yellow throat and underparts contrast with an olive back; wings lack bold bars.

A small, round-headed shape with a fine, pointed bill; young birds are duller.
